The GEA Niro Cleaning in Place (CIP) nozzle is a retractable design, where the nozzle head, when not in use, is flush with the inner wall of the equipment requiring cleaning: spray drying chambers, ducts, cyclones, fluid beds, tanks, etc. During CIP operation, water is pumped to the nozzle, forcing the nozzle head out from the flush surface. Once water supply is stopped, the nozzle head retracts automatically to its flush position.
