Application: Bench-scale evaluation of the feasibility of agglomeration, granulation and coating.
Capacity: The typical batch size is 0.25-0.50 kg and the minimum feed requirement is about 2 kg.
Specification: Up to 200 kg/h of drying and fluidization air is heated electrically to a maximum inlet temperature of 200°C. The liquid feed for agglomeration, granulation or coating is supplied by a peristaltic pump to a two-fluid nozzle, either from the top or the bottom of the process container.
All product is retained in the process by means of internal filters in the process container. A special feature of this particular plant is that the inlet air humidity is adjustable.
