As a service to our customers, GEA Niro offers the possibility of renting a pilot plant. GEA Niro has a number of rental plants available for rental, allowing our customers to perform pilot testing of a process at their own location. One reason for this may be that the raw material changes physical or chemical properties during transportation to GEA Niro. Another reason might be that the customer wants to test the equipment for a longer period before purchasing a plant.
Our rental plants include:
- Spray dryers, SDMICROTM and MOBILE MINORTM 2000
- Vibrating and stationary fluid beds (air units can be included)
- Granulation, V-blender and HEC-400
- Freeze dryer
It is possible to rent the plants with or without a process engineer. To ensure the safety of our customers and the equipment, we recommend that the plants are rented with a process engineer. A few days introduction to the unit by the engineer will also improve the overall outcome and save time for our customer.
