The same procedure as for Sludge is used. After filtration through the 600-micron sieve the milk is poured into a test tube which is emptied again immediately. The remaining film with undissolved particles/agglomerates is compared with a photograph 5-grade scale. The SDP is determined in both 25ºC and 85ºC warm water. The remedy to improve the SDP value is agglomeration.
