The Achema event in Frankfurt, Germany came to a close on May 19th, 2006 after five busy days. The organizers and exhibiting companies were extremely positive about the event, which had approximately 180,000 professionals from approx. 98 countries visit. Once again the event proved to be a great success and has solidified its reputation as the leading show for process industry worldwide.
The joint GEA stand was a success with a high rate of activity and many visitors. The joint stand created a synergy for the companies represented at Achema 2006 and allowed easy referral of potential customers and visitors to other P-Division companies.
This year Achema had more than 30% of all visitors from outside Germany. This was an increase of 8% compared to 2003. All in all the event drew high-profile representatives from businesses and major institutions in various countries. The event allowed for some very interesting conversations and business opportunities.
