The use of rotary atomizers for industrial spray drying has been in retreat for some years, being replaced by nozzle technology. New, laminar atomization has opened a lot of possibilities to produce new products with enhanced properties regarding functionality, handling, environmental and energy aspects. The technology can be installed in new plants or used to rebuild old production facilities.
