The Integrated Filter Dryer Granulator IFD-GRANULATOR™ from GEA Niro is designed to perform at the highest standards. Based on GEA Niro’s successful Integrated Filter Dryer IFD™, this granulator aims to produce top quality agglomerates for a range of products. This granulator is a development of GEA Niro’s well-known and market-accepted Fluidized Spray Dryer FSD™, which also incorporates the CIP-able bag filter SANICIP™.
GEA Niro’s IFD-GRANULATOR™ refines particle formation and increases powder quality. The IFD-GRANULATOR™ gives a total, in-place powder recovery and cleaning ability. The whole plant is greatly simplified as it eliminates the need for external cyclones, bag filters, and fines recycling.
This GEA Niro system allows additional liquid to be added in the stationary back mix fluid bed in order to achieve a variety of precise product characteristics not available with traditional fines return systems alone. Depending on your process requirements, the liquid added may be water or with the same composition as the feed or a totally different product.
