Capacity: The evaporative capacity is 35-50 kg/h.
Specification: The feed to be concentrated is pumped through a pre-heater to the top of the calandria. The calandria has a total heating surface of 1.5 m2. To achieve the right concentration, the concentration is normally done in two to four passes. Recirculation is normally avoided. The condenser is cooled by tap water. Steam condensate and incondensable vapours are evacuated from the plant by a vacuum pump. Product condensate is pumped out by a separate pump.
