VIBRO-FLUIDIZER™
The VIBRO-FLUIDIZER™ is a Fluid Bed Dryer which can successfully be used for all types of powders, agglomerates and granulates; especially those with a broad particle size distribution or highly irregular shape, or which require relatively low fluidization velocities to prevent attrition. The VIBRO-FLUIDIZER™ is typically used as an after-dryer/cooler in MSD™/FSD™ plants or directly connected to Conventional Dryers or a TALL FORM DRYER™.
 


The VIBRO-FLUIDIZER™
  • The VIBRO-FLUIDIZER™ is in sanitary design with all product and process air contacted surfaces in stainless steel. It is equipped with CIP nozzles welded on to the housing for a full CIP without any need for manual mounting of the nozzles before the actual cleaning-in-place. It consists of a vibrating housing divided into an upper and a lower part by a special perforated sheet. The dividing sheet is fully welded to the VIBRO-FLUIDIZER™ and with perforations inclined in direction of the product flow thus providing an even flow and self-emptying effect. To ensure a constant powder layer during operation the VIBRO-FLUIDIZER™ is equipped with an adjustable weir. 

  • The VIBRO-FLUIDIZER™ can be operated as a separate drying or cooling unit. It is often associated with a spray drying system to produce agglomerated instant powder or act as a powder conditioning plant for special coating operations like lecithinated instant whole milk powder.

  • The VIBRO-FLUIDIZER™ can also be delivered in a non-sanitary version used for products that are suitable for a second stage drying to improve the drying economy, but where sanitary processing conditions are of less importance.
