The Fluidized Spray Dryer Granulator FSD-GRANULATOR™ from GEA Niro uses a tailored design to produce high quality agglomerates – even for products that are difficult to agglomerate, such as soy proteins that lack proper binding material.
The FSD-GRANULATOR™ from GEA Niro has been developed based on one of the most successful spray dryers worldwide: GEA Niro’s Fluidized Spray Dryer FSD™.
This GEA Niro system allows additional liquid to be added in the stationary back mix fluid bed in order to achieve bigger agglomerates and/or precise product characteristics not possible with traditional fines return systems alone. Depending on your process requirements, the liquid added may be water or with the same composition as the feed or a totally different product - all to your liking and depending on your requirements for the final agglomerate size.
