Application: Full-scale granulation and sieving of frozen products for freeze drying. Used for test work to obtain operational data and to establish a basis for design of granulation systems.
Capacity: The capacity is 200 to 300 kg/h, depending on the product and the size of the granules.
Specification: The granulator and vibration screen are specially designed to operate in frost rooms. Frozen flakes are fed to the granulator and specially designed cylinders crush the frozen product granules in preparation for freeze drying.
If required, the granules are sieved into equally sized particles prior to the freeze drying process. The area of the screens is 315 x 1000 mm and the mesh widths are 3.3 x 3.3 and 1.0 x 1.0 mm. For manual sieving more than 30 different sizes are available.
