RAY™- S Design
The RAY™-S cabinets are made of stainless steel. Only the heating plates are made of anodized aluminum to obtain optimal heat transfer by means of radiation.
The cabinets are designed as cylindrical vessels with special attention to the demand for full steam sterilization (SIP) and cleaning in place (CIP).
The RAY™-S series is available in the same sizes as the RAY™ series.
GEA Niro has developed a pilot plant; the RAY™-1, where it is possible to establish drying curves, weight loss curves and temperature developments during the freeze drying process. A pilot plant is a must if you want to develop new freeze dried products.
