GEA Niro's REWET AGGLOMERATORTM produces course, instant, free-flowing and dustless agglomerates.
Agglomeration is the process to obtain fine powders or powder mixes as instant, free-flowing and dustless consumer products (with fixed micro-composition).
The GEA Niro REWET AGGLOMERATORTM process involves dispersion of fine powder in air, followed by mixing the powder with small droplets of liquid to form loose agglomerates with point-to-point contact. The handlig of material during the agglomeration process is administered according to the desired properties of the final product.
The agglomerate is dried, cooled and screened, and any fines or milled oversize material are recycled.
