Application: The air blast freezer is a small-scale batch freezer for test work. It is used to obtain operational data, to establish a basis for design of industrial-size systems and to produce product for quality evaluation. The air blast freezer is primarily used for freezing coffee.
Capacity: The freezing capacity is up to 5 kg/batch, and the freezing time is from 5 to 30 minutes, depending on the velocity and the temperature of the air.
Specification: The area of the freezing tray is 0.24 m2; the maximum air velocity is about 20 m/s; and the minimum air temperature is -55°C.
